Heidi Grace of Heidi Grace Designs is chatting live tonight (Monday, November 27)with the Fiskateers at 9pm eastern standard time. I love her patterned papers and ribbon. Here is a layout using her papers. This is one of my favorite layouts for purely sentimental reasons. I love the shimmery papers, which are not showing up too well in this small picture. Check out The Fiskateer message board for more information about the chat. By the way, Heidi is expecting her first child. I think her due date is soon.
Here are some of my favorite goodies from her In Bloom Garden collection.
pins, buttons, sweet acetate flowers, and paper
If you are interested in buying some Heidi Grace papers, I did see some at our local scrapbook store, A Scrapbook Store, in Mt. Pleasant. Sugar Plum Forest and Orchard You should go check it out. A Scrapbook Store website. Call (843) 884-1944 or e-mail them at [email protected]. Tell them that Sudie sent you.

I suffer from chronic sleep deprivation. It was really crazy that I would voluntarily give up sleep to stand in line with strangers outside in the cold to buy something. Pretty crazy. But I did. I was able to rescue a Canon Rebel digital xti from Office Depot after 2 previously unsuccessful attempts. (long story) I also snagged a dvd/vcr player, ipod docking thingy-do, and other little trinkets. I was in heaven in a local Children's boutique with their end of the season sale. This was where I found my biggest savings. However, I waited in the check out line for over an hour. My friend stood in line 3 and a half hours at Best Buy, so how can I complain?
So here are the hilights.
I am happy to report that I did survive the madness; however, today I am paying for my splendid morning with a serious sleep hangover.

Are you planning to shop the day after Thanksgiving? I do. It is a great day to get the techy stuff at a great savings. We need a new dvd player and a vcr too. I might sneak in a digi slr camera.

I love this Fisher Price Tough Kid digi camera. I have heard great reviews so far. and that is a great price! Better snatch one up quick though, because I predict they will be hard to find. Suggested retail is $70. Here’s a real digital camera that’s tough enough—and easy enough—for kids to use! What a perfect way for kids to get creative by taking, viewing and even printing their own digital pictures!
Camera is approx. 5½" W x 4" H.
The Kid-Tough™ Digital Camera features:
Additional features include:
Chunky handgrips, big buttons, drop-resistant. Low resolution and holds about 60 pictures. There is a SD card slot if you need more. A great idea for a first camera.

Child sexual abuse. It is a very uncomfortable subject, but an important one. We are lucky to have a great organization call Darkness to Light. Darkness to Light Their byline is "confronting child sexual abuse with courage." It takes courage to talk or even think about this subject. But it is my belief, my hope, that with we can prevent and help with the recovery of families by bringing this subject into the light.
Last night was their Circle of Light gala. There is a beautiful song that was performed by a local children's choir. My nephew was in this choir. I could not be more proud of him.

For the past couple of nights, Maria has been singing songs and pretending to rock a baby in her bed. Little did I know that she had swiped my credit card and hidden it under her pillow. She has been cradling this card like it is a doll. I think she likes the Disney characters and sparkleys on it. I suspected that my credit card was misplaced, but frankly have not had the time to even think about it.
Then today, Audrey's teacher stops me and says she has to tell me something very important. She said that Audrey has memorized my credit card number and is repeating it to anyone that will listen. So we called her over and sure enough. I am not sure to be angry or impressed. She says she thought it was our phone number. Argh!
Credit cards and children. Not a good combination. Who knew!?!

Thanks for pointing out that I never posted a picture of my 2 page, multi photo layout. I was keeping it for a special occasion. The beautiful weather here has inspired me to share with you. This layout named "Messy Fun" features some great Cloud 9 papers and Paper Salon stamps.
Sprinkled with some Heidi Swapp embellishments and a few buttons. This is some summer messy fun. The girls played with shaving cream and then rinsed off in the sprinklers. Very messy, but they had a blast!

Do you love them? I do. I love seeing the creativity of our local artists. You will never guess what I saw today at the craft show at my mom's church. Handcrafted cards! I was so excited. They were great cards. I loved them so much that I had to really resist buying a couple dozen. If I remember correctly, they were mostly Christmas cards. I hope they did well today. It was so neat to see some cardmakers at a show.
I keep telling y'all that this is a huge trend right now. Cardmakers are emerging from the scrapbooking world.
Cardmakers of the world unite!
