How to participate:
It's easy. Thanks for all of your enthusiasm and caring.
- Donate socks to your local shelter or mission. Please send a count to sudiea@gmail to be included in our total.
- Drop socks at a collection box to be donated locally. Locations will be listed for your convenience.
- Create a ’sock box’ Please have a sign to share where the donations are going and why. Post your collection location with contact information. If you are coordinating a collection site, you will need to deliver socks and send in totals of donations.
- Host a crop and collect socks for donations.
- Mail socks to Elena http://www.scrapbookroyalt
y.com/contact.html, Cheryl Waters http://www.scrapbookroyalt y.com/contact.html, or Sudie Alexander [email protected]. - Help spread the word by posting on your blog, tell friends, invite people to join our facebook group, etc. The more the merrier.

Collecting socks was actually one of the possible Girl Scout Silver Award projects my daughter was considering last year - we never knew how needed they were in our community! Kudos to you for participating in such a worthy cause.

Hi Sudie, I'm so excited that you are in the Charleston area!!!! I've been looking for scrappers in the area! As for your sock drive, it's a great idea. I am not able to help now. However, I worked in a homeless shelter several years ago and I know how important dry socks are! Thanks for being a shining light in our community! Jessica
