5 Reasons Moms Love The Internet #3

I love to read. Unfortunately, being a mom my time is limited.    At one time my reading was limited to the back of cereal boxes.

Reading a meaty novel is still a bit of a challenge.   The internet feeds my need to read. 

There are blogs on the internet that are so much more interesting than what's on tv.  

My favorite is the Pioneer Woman.   Her sequel about the love story of meeting and marrying her Malboro Man is better than any romance novel.  Plus, her rib-sticking recipes are fantastic.  She uses ingredients that I recognize too.  She is a talent writer.  To check her blog out visit http://thepioneerwoman.com/

Then there is Dooce.  She is hilarious.  But she is not for everyone.  If you don't like to hear about poop, or boobs, or the indignities of being a mom  do not visit her blog.   She has no filter.  You have been warned.  http://www.dooce.com/   But she is sooo funny.

My personal favorite is Stephanie Howell.  She is a Southern Army wife to two small girls.  She is a woman of intelligence, common sense, and real.  Real life.  You cannot fake that.  Plus, she is a scrapbooker. http://stephaniehowell.typepad.com/   Love her!  Tell her Sudie sent ya'.

I love to read blogs in my Google Reader.  All the blogs come to me.  If you are not using an rss feed or reader, I would recommend checking it out. It is a huge time saver.
