Cupcakes

I have survived National Scrapbook Day (barely). 

I was told that I *must* bring cupcakes to our class on May 20th (Tuesday) for our Yummy! Basic Grey celebration mini album.  Our class is called a Cupcake album because it is a sweet little irresistable treat.  Everybody loves cupcakes.

So, do y'all want cupcakes?    If you do, you need to let me know what kind of cupcakes you like.

Our Cupcake album class is a celebration.    Create and celebrate whatever is important to you.   I chose to do my album about my great bunch of friends.  Most of which I met through this wonderful hobby called scrapbooking.  Here are a few sneek peaks. 

Today we celebrated this gorgeous day by watching Little A. play tennis. She had so much fun.  I'm thinking college scholarship.

I will be teaching a Celebrations mini album class at A Scrapbook Store next month.  We are going to be using the new and yummy Cupcake collection by Basic Grey.   A perfect combination!   The colors are simply gorgeous.  The 6 by 6 album is also by Basic Grey.

It is so difficult, and sometimes near impossible, to keep a good secret.

I am really excited to finally use my gift of cooking classes that my sweet husband gave me.  The school FINALLY had an opening (cancellation, actually) and I am taking a cupcake class on Saturday!   I love cupcakes.  Who doesn't!?

The secret is...

I am teaching this awesome mini album class at a Scrapbook Store.  so while I am working on this album, I am daydreaming about cupcakes.  The papers I am using are from Basic Grey's cupcake line.  It just makes me hungry.   But as this yummy little album comes together, I just keep getting more excited.  I cannot wait to see how it turns out.   I need to think of a snappy title for my class.  Any ideas?    I promised the store owner I would have it to her (like yesterday).   Thanks!

Oh, and here is a cupcake lover who just got her hair cut.   See her t-shirt.  totally unplanned.  but attests to the fact that I have cupcake on the brain.

Congrats to Mary, Angie, Debby, Betty, Dalene, Judy, Leslie, and Stacey on becoming official Certified Fiskars Demonstrators.   We really had fun learning more about Fiskars tools that we love.  It was a treat to spend my afternoon with these nice ladies.  Thanks, y'all.
